MB Reason
To meet navigational requirements for ADS-B Out per FAA Federal Regulation 14 CFR § 91.225 and 14 CFR § 91.227. Revision B of this Modification Bulletin adds the Non-Diversity Transponder part number to the Software Accomplishment Summary.
MB Description
This Modification Bulletin accomplishes the installation and post-installation checks of the ADS-B OUT system in the Eclipse Model EA500 aircraft.
MB Compliance
This Modification Bulletin must be accomplished at an Eclipse Aerospace Authorized Service Center. Configuration settings, if applicable, are to be used for the ADS-B OUT system to meet section 91.227 requirements which requires installation of equipment meeting the performance requirements of TSO-C166b or TSO-C154c equipment after January 1, 2020. Refer to FAA Memorandum dated MAR - 2 2016. Compliance with Rev A constitutes compliance with Rev B
