This Modification Bulletin provides instructions to enhance Pitot/AOA probe heating. Revision E of this Modification Bulletin corrects typos in References and updates Compliance, and Limitations and Procedures.

MB Description

This Modification Bulletin provides installation instructions for bonding an external flange heater to each Pitot/AOA probe.

MB Compliance

Eclipse Aerospace Incorporated considers this Modification Bulletin to be a mandatory upgrade that must be accomplished within 120 days from the revision E date of this Modification Bulletin. This Modification Bulletin must be accomplished at an Eclipse Aerospace Authorized Service Center. International Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Approval: To determine the status of approval for a local CAA or with other questions, contact Eclipse Aerospace Customer Service at (505) 724-1784, e-mail customer.service@eclipse.aero or Eclipse Aerospace Service Engineering at 505-724-1161, email service.engineering@eclipse.aero. Compliance with Rev A, B, C, and D does constitute compliance with Rev E.

Effectivity

Aircraft Serial Numbers: 550-0263 to 550-0265, 550-0268 to 550-0280, 550-0282 to 550-0284 POST MB 500-34-025, and 550-1001 and up.
