MB Reason

Nuisance Transponder Fail CAS Messages and ADS-B FAIL indicator difficult to see in direct sunlight on aircraft modified by MB 500-34-031, revision B or earlier. Typo in B. Reason, reference to "MB 500-34-031" should be "MB 500-34-030".


MB Description

This Modification Bulletin provides procedures to update the configuration for GTX33 Transponders that have ADS-B Out capability on IFMS 2.08/2.5.2 configured aircraft. Procedures for removing the 750 ohm dimming resistor for the ADS-B FAIL Indicator. Revision B of this Modification Bulletin corrects typo in B. Reason, was "MB 500-34-031", is: "MB 500-34-030". Added International Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Approval: to E. Compliance.


MB Compliance

Eclipse Aerospace considers this to be a highly recommended upgrade that can be accomplished at the next maintenance visit. This Recommended Bulletin must be accomplished at an Eclipse Aerospace Authorized Service Center. Aircraft Serial Numbers: 000045, 000048, 000056, 000100, 000160, 000183, 000208 and 000260 modified by MB 500-34-030 - ADS-B Out for iFMS 2.08/2.5.2 Aircraft Configuration.
