This Modification Bulletin has been prepared for the installation of an Anti-Skid Brake System (ABS).

MB Description

This Modification Bulletin provides procedures to install ABS on an Eclipse aircraft.

Revision J of this Modification Bulletin adds alternate part numbers for the DECU and pressure switch.

MB Compliance

Rev F, G, and H do constitute compliance with Rev J.
Rev E, if SEM 500-074 has been completed, does constitute compliance with Rev H.
Revisions A, B, C or D, if MB 500-32-003 or MB 550-32-001 and SEM 500-00174 have been completed, do constitute compliance with Rev H.

Eclipse Aerospace Incorporated considers this to be an optional upgrade.
This Modification Bulletin must be accomplished at an Eclipse Aerospace Authorized Service Center.

NOTE: The following Bulletins must be completed prior to, or in conjunction with ABS installation.

• MB 500-31-006, IFMS 2.5 Software Upgrade and SDU Install OR MB 500-31-007, IFMS 2.7 Equipment Upgrade
• SB 500-32-008, Master Cylinder Inspect/Replace
• SB 500-32-010, Bias Ply Tire Installation

NOTE: MB 500-34-003, Options Rack and Harness is optional, if a one piece options rack and improved avionics harness is selected.

Effectivity

Aircraft Serial Numbers: 500-000001 to 500-000262, 500-000266 to 500-000267, Post MB 500-31-006, IFMS 2.5 Equipment Upgrade.

Aircraft Serial Numbers: 550-0263 to 550-0265, 550-0268 to 550-0300, Post MB 500-31-007, IFMS 2.7 Equipment Upgrade.
