MB Reason
This Modification Bulletin has been prepared to update BIO software to version 6.0. Rev D of this Modification Bulletin updates Compliance, References, Tooling, Interchangeability/Intermixability of Parts, and Accomplishment Instructions.
MB Description
This Modification Bulletin provides procedures to update BIO software to version 6.0. Byteflight Input/Output (BIO) software is used in the aircraft instrument panel units Center Switch Panel (CSP), Keyboards and Autopilot Control Panel (ACP). NOTE: BIO Software version 6.0 is not stand alone software. It should only be installed on aircraft also receiving updates to ACS and EFIS software as part of an avionics configuration upgrade.
MB Compliance
Eclipse Aerospace Incorporated considers this to be a recommended upgrade. This Modification Bulletin must be accomplished at an Eclipse Aerospace Authorized Service Center. Compliance with Rev A, B and C does constitute compliance with Rev D.
Effectivity
Aircraft Serial Numbers: 000001 to 000262, 000266 and 000267, upgraded to avionics IFMS 2.08 or higher.
