Definition of SACAA configuration requirements for the EA500.

MB 500-04-005 replaces SB 500-04-005.

MB 500-04-005 revision A changes from SB 500-04-005 revision B include:
• Includes new Mandatory Modification/Service Bulletins.
• Upgrades for AVIO IFMS 2.08 and 2.5
• Upgrade for Airplane Flight Manual (AFM) P/N 06-123841 and Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) P/N 06-123838

SB 500-04-005 revision B change history includes:
• Upgrades for AVIO IFMS 2.7
• Upgrades for ISPS, Anti-Skid System, PPG Windshield, and Life Extension
• Inserted Aircraft Serial Number 550
• SB 500-25-006 (Sun Visor Installation) and SB 500-25-004 (Seat, Armrest Installation) are now optional


MB Description

Revision B of this modification Bulletin changes NOTE: The minimum avionics configuration required for export is AVIO IFMS 2.0. to NOTE: The minimum avionics configuration required for export is AVIO NG 1.5. Added AVIO NG 1.5 to Limitations and Procedures.

MB Compliance

Mandatory for all aircraft that are to be registered in South Africa.


Effectivity

All EA500 aircraft to be registered in South Africa under authority of the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA).
