MB Reason
This Modification Bulletin has been prepared to upgrade to the PPG transparencies.
MB Description
This Modification Bulletin provides procedures to upgrade the windshields and wiring. NOTE: Both pilot and co-pilot windshields must be installed at the same time with this mod. Installation of the new side windows is optional. It is not required to replace both side windows at the same time. One PPG and one Nordam side window is permissible. Revision E of this MB adds 25-125280 as alternate to 25-123455 to materials. Updated Compliance, Materials, and Accomplishment Instructions.
MB Compliance
At the operator's discretion. This Modification Bulletin must be accomplished at an Eclipse Aerospace Authorized Service Center. If aircraft 0001-0073, SB 500-56-001 must be completed prior to, or in conjunction with this MB.
Effectivity
Aircraft Serial Numbers: 000001 to 000073 post SB 500-56-001, or 000074 to 000262, 000266 and 000267 with ACS 5.5.06 higher and IFMS 2.08 software or higher for compatibility with ACS 5.5.06. Aircraft Serial Numbers: 550-0263 to 550-0265, 550-0268 to 550-0280 and 550-0282 to 550-0284 with ACS 5.5.06 higher and IFMS 2.7 software or higher for compatibility with ACS 5.5.06.
