SB Reason
To extend the range and enhance the operational performance of current aircraft.
Revision D changes include:
- Replaced all instances of 55-121239-1002 with 55-121239-1003.
- Added P/N 55-111329-1009 (Trim Tab Assy., Elevator, LH) as alternate to P/N 55-111329-1008.
- Added P/N 55-113147-1007 (Trim Tab Assy., Elevator, RH) as alternate to P/N 55-113147-1006.
- Added Rivets P/Ns HR3255-4-02 and HR3255-4-03 to Mod Kit, Elevator, 55-121239-1003.
- Added LH Elevator Trim Tab rework instructions.
- Correction: Was: P/N 57-122285-2001 (formerly P/N 57-121281-2001), Is: P/N 57-122285-2001 (formerly P/N 57-121279-2001).
- Added P/N 54-123167-2001 (Skin Laminate, Starter-Generator Scoop) as an alternate to P/Ns 5130019-19 and 5130019-21.
- Added P/N NAS390B8P (Washer - Flush Type, Finishing) and P/N NAS1169C8L (Countersunk Washers (Grommets)) for use with P/N 54-123167-2001.
- Added P/N 71-123255-1001 (Tailcone (Pre-drilled Part)) as alternate to P/N 5130011.
- Added P/N 57-114015-2001 (Wing Trailing Edge Bracket) rework to Aileron Seal, Skin, and Hinge Cover Modification.
SB Description
This Service Bulletin (SB) modifies several different parts of the aircraft. The modifications and their effects on the aircraft are described as follows: (1) Replacement of the original wing tip tanks with larger size tip tanks for increased range. (2) Implementation of a drag reduction program to increase speed and enhance flight performance.
SB Compliance
Eclipse Aerospace Incorporated (EAI) considers this to be a recommended modification that can be accomplished at the operator's discretion.
