SB Reason
This Service Bulletin has been prepared to install an optional satellite phone. Revision D change: Add alternate harness part number 23-123280-1001. Replaced Placard P/N 11-123263-2005 with 11-123263-2006. Added bilingual placards P/Ns 11-123263-2007 (Spanish), 11-123263-2011 (French), 11-123263-2012 (German), 11-123263-2013 (Turkish), 11-123263-2014 (Portuguese (Brazil), 11-123263-2015 (Swedish) and 11-123263-2016 (Arabic). Change placard installation from above Hang-up Cup to on the Hang-up Cup. Revised location of Hang-up Cup and Sat Phone RJ-45 connector. Revised AMC software version in tooling list and figures. Changed ECTM installation does not require Sim Card to does require Sim Card. Added IEMI can be read from the AMC.
SB Description
This Service Bulletin provides procedures to install a satellite phone. Engine Condition Trend Monitoring (ECTM) must be activated with the Sat Phone Installation or ECTM can be activated without installing the Sat Phone components. NOTE: An active Sim Card is required for both ECTM activation and Sat Phone.
