Revision J of this service bulletin clarifies corrects a typographical error in section 1, A.
SB Description
Applicable aircraft in compliance with Section 2, and Notes 1–4 are eligible for an extension of the service life from the originally certified 10 years, 10,000 flight hours, or 10,000 cycles to 20,000 flight hours or 20,000 cycles. This Service Bulletin is provided for planning purposes only. This bulletin is not eligible for incorporation, nor may it be considered incorporated, on applicable aircraft until the aircraft has reached 10,000 flight hours, 10,000 cycles, or 10 years since the original date of manufacture. Should Eclipse Aerospace agree to permit the use of this Service Bulletin to extend the life limit of an aircraft, Eclipse Aerospace will provide that person with written evidence of that permission.

Effectivity
Aircraft Serial Numbers: 000001 to 000038 when modified by SB 500-99-001, Performance Enhancement and Drag Reduction Modification and in compliance with Section 2, "Accomplishment Instructions". Aircraft Serial Numbers: 000039 to 000262, 000266 to 000267, 550-0263 to 550-0265, 550-0268 to 550-0280, 550-0282 to 550-0284, and 550-1001 and above when in compliance with Section 2.
