SB Reason
There have been a few instances where the seat adjustment cable (height and fore and aft adjustment) have come loose and become inoperative. This failure would freeze the crew seat in its last position. There could eventually be a safety of flight issue if this failure was to happen in flight.
SB Description
This SB (Service Bulletin) adds position locators along the routing of the adjustment cable to prevent it from working loose.
SB Compliance
Eclipse Aviation Corporation considers this to be a mandatory modification that must be accomplished within the next 5 calendar days from the issuance of this SB.
