SB Reason
This Service Bulletin provides the steps to update the firmware for the Multi-Function Display (MFD).
SB Description
Eclipse Aerospace, Inc. (EAI) and Innovative Solutions and Support (IS&S) have investigated a number of MFDs with display flickering. The result of the investigation produced a solution in the form of an MFD firmware update. This update is not field-loadable. It is must be installed by IS&S in their factory service center.
SB Compliance
Eclipse Aerospace Inc. considers this to be a recommended procedure aircraft equipped with 9D-84100-3 MFD.
Effectivity
Aircraft Serial Numbers: 000001 to 000262, 000266 to 000267 equipped with 9D-84100-3 MFD.
