SB Reason

To provide procedures for the installation of needed structure to support the installation of the Tamagawa Flap Actuators and Potentiometers. Revision D of this Modification Bulletin clarifies procedure and updates the consumables list. Revision C of this Modification Bulletin updates part numbers and clarifies procedure. Revision B of this Modification Bulletin includes various changes.


SB Description

Replaces outboard flap actuator fairings and replaces mount brackets to allow the installation of the Tamagawa Flap Actuators and Potentiometers.


SB Compliance

Aircraft Serial Numbers 0001-0104, 0113-0115, 0120, 0123, and 0124 (pre-Avio NG configuration) must have SB 500-31-014 - Aircraft Computer System (ACS) Software Update to 4.6.04 accomplished prior to or concurrently with the installation of this Service Bulletin. If these aircraft have been modified by SB 500-99-002 - Avionics Upgrade To Avio NG Configuration, SB 500-31-014 is not required. Eclipse Aerospace Incorporated considers this to be an optional modification that can be accomplished at the operators discretion. Compliance with revision A, B, and C of this service bulletin constitutes compliance with revision D.
