SB Reason
This Service Bulletin was prepared to comply with international requirements (ICAO, Annex 7) for External Markings, Placards and Avionics Settings. This Service Bulletin is required for international registration according to EASA and/or National Aviation Authorities regulations. Revision B changes include: Added flags for Germany, France and Turkey. Added notes to the MFD Registration Data Plate and EFIS Configuration Data steps. Revision C changes include: Germany empennage registration number slant to 15 degrees maximum. National flags are mandatory for Germany, Spain and Turkey registered aircraft. Revision D removed Weight and Balance aircraft re-weigh requirement. Revision E changes include: Added SB 500-04-003 Configuration Definition for Aircraft to be Registered in United Arab Emirates to Relevant Publications. National flag mandatory for Austria. Revised under wing registration number location dimensions. Revision F Changes include: EFIS Software activation (for aircraft equipped). Revision G changes include: Added Brazil, Mexico, Pakistan, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Sweden and United Arab Emirates flags. Added Brazil under wing markings. Resized boundary box for under wing markings. Revision H changes include: Updated Relevant Publications for Brazil and Pakistan. Revision J changes include: Updated Relevant Publications for South Africa. Added optional South African flag and Export Control Statement.
