SB Reason
(1) One placard in the aft baggage area, left cabin sidewall, had an error in the metric conversion of the maximum allowable baggage weight for that area. (2) The 260 lbs limit is correct, the conversion into kilograms should have been (118 KG) and not (120 KG).
SB Description
(1) This Service Bulletin (SB) replaces the wrong placard (p/n 11-102927- x) with the correct placard (p/n 11-121485-x). (2) The new placard is in agreement with the placard depicted in the EA 500 Airplane Flight Manual p/n 06-100106 Rev 02 and later.
SB Compliance
Eclipse Aviation Corporation considers this to be an mandatory modification that must be accomplished as soon as possible but no later than 30 calendar days after issuance of this SB.
