SB Reason
To verify lighting strike protection for the Engine Start Pumps.
SB Description
This Service Bulletin inspects the Aircraft for additional grounding for lightning strike protection. If grounding straps are not present, install grounding strap from Engine Start Pump in the Fuel Systems to the wing.
SB Compliance
Eclipse Aviation Corporation considers this to be an mandatory inspection and/or modification that must be accomplished within 10 hours or 30 days which ever comes first.
