SB Reason
This Service Bulletin (SB) implements the DSU upgrade to Part Number 11-0323-07 for the Serial Number aircraft that were not so equipped before delivery. There is a potential for the original DSU (Part Number 11-0323-06) to lose data during aircraft power down. This could lead to the loss of aircraft fault and flight history data.
SB Description
This SB mandates the replacement of the original DSU that is susceptible to data loss upon powering down the aircraft with an improved model that eliminates that problem.
SB Compliance
Eclipse Aviation Corporation considers this to be a mandatory modification that must be accomplished as soon as possible but no later than 30 calendar days after issuance of this SB or issuance of the aircraft Certificate of Airworthiness, whichever comes later.
