SB Reason
This Service Bulletin (SB) provides for the replacement of the original Avidyne EFIS PFD and Avidyne EFIS MFD with new improved hardware and software. New PFD: two per aircraft, P/N 700-00078-102 and P/N 700-00078-103 New MFD: one per aircraft, P/N 700-00079-103
SB Description
The hardware and software for the EFIS have been enhanced. It also includes provisions for the increased fuel quantities found in the Extended Tip Tank (ETT).
SB Compliance
Eclipse Aviation Corporation considers this to be a mandatory modification that must be accomplished before the aircraft goes into service with the customer/owner.
