SB Reason
The procedure in this service bulletin will modify the MFD Accessory board 9S12 software to correct a temperature-related issue that may result in uncommanded button presses.
SB Description
This Service Bulletin (SB) updates the MFD software version. This Service Bulletin provides a procedure to update the MFD software from part number 530-00174-000 Rev00 to Rev01. This is a two-part load procedure. The first procedure will load the MFD accessory board 9S12 and the second procedure will update the splash screen to indicate the new MFD S.W. P/N revision.
SB Compliance
Eclipse Aviation Corporation considers this to be a mandatory upgrade that must be accomplished within 60 days of issue date of this Service Bulletin.
