SB Reason
To add additional aircraft capabilities with the addition of the Traffic Advisory System option.
SB Description
This Service Bulletin gives instructions to install the Traffic Advisory System (TAS) or referred to as Skywatch. For those aircraft delivered with Avio NG and have the optional Traffic Advisory System components installed, but not enabled: This SB gives instruction to configure the aircraft with the AMC, enabling the Traffic Advisory System..
SB Compliance
Eclipse Aerospace Incorporated considers this to be an optional modification that can be accomplished at the operator's discretion based on the operator's requirements (Part 135 Operations for instance).
Service Bulletin SB 500-99-002 must be accomplished on aircraft S/N 000001-000104,000113-000115, 000120, and 000123-000124 prior to accomplishment of this Service Bulletin.
EFIS 1.3 or higher software must be installed, if not, Service Bulletin SB 500-31-015 - EFIS 1.3 Software Update must be accomplished first.
NOTE: Aircraft upgraded to the Avio NG + 1.5 configuration EFIS 1.5.1 (SB 500-99-005) are eligible for this modification.
Aircraft modified with Service Bulletin SB 500-34-018 are not eligible for this Service Bulletin.
