SB Reason
Replace ballast located under the nose radome with a Weather Radar System.
SB Description
This Service Bulletin replaces the ballast installed in the nose area with the JRC, JMA-500 or Honeywell RDR2000 Weather Radar.
SB Compliance
Aircraft serial numbers 000055 through 000104, 000113 through 000115, 000120 and 000123 through 000124 must have SB 500-99-002 accomplished prior to installation of the Weather Radar. Eclipse Aerospace Incorporated considers this to be an optional modification that can be accomplished at the operator's discretion based on the operator's requirements.
