SB Reason
During manufacture of Serial Number 000001, a production step in trimming the lower skin was omitted. Later in the manufacturing process, a filler was installed, as required, in that location. This created locally a double skin thickness and a slight bulge where the lower skin should have been trimmed.
SB Description
This Service Bulletin (SB) removes the filler to return the skin loft line to the original contour matching the design loft line. This SB also ensures, through inspection, that no damage was inflicted to the upper fuselage skin panel.
SB Compliance
Eclipse Aviation Corporation considers this to be a mandatory modification that must be accomplished as soon as possible but no later than 30 calendar days or 50 flight hours after issuance of this SB, whichever comes first.
