SB Reason
Inspection of the EA500 Flight Test aircraft revealed migration of some of the bushings within the lugs of the main and aft Wing Spar Attachment Fittings.
SB Description
This Service Bulletin ensures that the above Serial Number aircraft is retrofitted with the Wing Attachment Fittings Modification approved for the other production aircraft. This Modification adds shims that will prevent bushing migration within the Wing/Fuselage Attachment Fittings. This bulletin also installs a shear clip at the root of the leading edge of each wing to react fore and aft motion of the wing relative to the fuselage.
SB Compliance
Eclipse Aviation Corporation considers this to be a recommended modification that should be accomplished within 30 days of the issuance of this Service Bulletin.
