SB Reason
Product improvement, part number of KTR 2280 Multi-Mode Digital Radio (MMDR) changed from P/N 069-01037-0101 to P/N 069-01037-0102. MMDR P/N069-01037-0101 do not have 8.33 kHz frequency spacing communications capability, required for European operations.
SB Description
This Service Bulletin replaces the KTR 2280 Multi-Mode Digital Radios (MMDRs) with radios with factory upgraded software.
SB Compliance
Eclipse Aviation Corporation considers this to be an optional modification that can be accomplished at the operator's discretion based on the operator's requirements (Part 135 Operations for instance).
