SB Reason
Product improvement to provide Basic Radio Navigation (BR Nav) capabilities and improved Autopilot functions.
Revision D changes include the following:
— Added rework of Main Options Wire Harness is not required if Main Options Wire Harness P/N 39-118750-1005 was installed by SB 500-99-002.
SB Description
This Service Bulletin provides procedures to install the Garmin GPS400W system. The keyboards and associated trays are removed and replaced with Garmin GPS400W receivers. The Autopilot Servos are replaced. The right and left Main Cabin Harnesses may be replaced in lieu of harness rework.
