ECLIPSE is providing this SIL to provide information about this software upgrade and the effect it will have on ordering Avio Processing Center (APC) spares.

Suggested Operator Action

MB 500-76-001 is a modification bulletin for Aircraft Serial Numbers: 000001-000038, Post SB 500-99-001 and 000039-000300.

FADEC software version 4.06 includes several changes including improved thrust lever angle (TLA) fault accommodation and an updated thrust lever position threshold.

Owner/operators should be aware that FADEC software 4.06 cannot be intermixed with previous FADEC software versions. If a replacement APC is needed the aircraft's compliance status for MB 500-76-001 must be confirmed. This information should be communicated with Eclipse customer service when ordering the APC so the replacement unit is properly configured before shipping.
