Aircraft Using Jeppesen Navigation Database Services
SIL Summary
This SIL introduces resources to identify and report issues with the Jeppesen navigation database used on IFMS equipped Eclipse 500 and 550 aircraft.
SIL Background
EAI has received inquiries regarding the appropriate method for identifying and reporting navigational database concerns.
Eclipse Action
EAI has issued this SIL to notify subscribers to the Jeppesen navigation database for IFMS equipped aircraft of the resources available to identify and report any database concerns.
Suggested Operator Action
Owner/operators and pilots with concerns about navigational databases should first review the information available at the IS&S website. This website provides valuable information on any known issues, future database releases, contacts for reporting concerns, and alternate flight planning procedures to mitigate the impact of any database issues.
