SIL Summary
This SIL introduces information regarding an upcoming solution to the issue of missing departures and runway transitions on arrivals in the navigation database for aircraft equipped with the Integrated Flight Management System (IFMS) 2.0, 2.5 and 2.7.
SIL Background
Operators reported some departures and runway transitions on arrivals were missing from the Jeppesen navigation database for aircraft equipped with IFMS 2.0, 2.5 and 2.7. Innovative Solutions & Support (IS&S) confirmed the missing data and issued database notices DN1137 and DN1402 to notify users of the IFMS Navigation Database of the issue.
General Database Notice information was previously provided in SIL-34-0002. For convenience, they are available from the IS&S website at the following address:

Eclipse Action
Eclipse is issuing this SIL to update customers on the status of the solution to this issue. IS&S has investigated the issue and determined the cause of the missing data. To address this issue, a revised data-compiling tool was developed by IS&S and supplied to Jeppesen. Jeppesen is currently performing validation testing. Navigation databases generated by the updated software tool should be available in summer 2014.
Suggested Operator Action
Use the Navigation database generated by the updated software tool when it becomes available.
