SIL Summary
This SIL provides information regarding an alternative method of uploading DSU data while the Flight History Uploader is unavailable.
SIL Background
The Flight History Uploader (FHU) on the Eclipse Aerospace, Inc.(EAI) Website will be un-available while a software update is in progress.
Eclipse Action
EAI is updating the security encryption for the FHU software.
Suggested Operator Action
While the FHU is un-available operators and maintainers are encouraged to upload data to EAI using the following procedure.
a. Copy the entire contents of the flash drive onto the hard drive of your computer.
b. PC: Use the send to, compressed (zipped) folder, function of Windows to compress the flash drive contents into a single .zip file.
MAC: Right click on the folder, click on 'Compress [Folder Name]'
c. Access the www.wetransfer.com website.
d. Upload the .zip file using the dialog box on website.
e. Send the file to the email address: service.engineering@eclipse.aero
f. You will receive an email from wetransfer.com indicating the upload was successful.
g. Service engineering will receive a notification email indicating the file is available.
h. You will receive an email from wetransfer.com when the file is downloaded by service engineering.
