SIL Summary
This SIL introduces an alternate fuel filler cap.
SIL Background
EAI has received requests for the availability of locking fuel filler caps.
Eclipse Action
EAI has authorized the use of a locking fuel filler cap, P/N 39226-( ), manufactured by Parker Aerospace Fuel Systems Division, that may be used as an alternate to the standard P/N 60063-8 fuel filler cap. Both caps meet MIL Spec MIL-C-38373. P/N 39226-2 caps are keyed in pairs P/N 39226-3 caps are keyed individually EAI will not carry these caps as inventory items. Operators may purchase these from the supplier of your choice.
Suggested Operator Action
Owner/operators may use the alternate fuel filler cap noted above at their discretion.
