SIL Summary
The Engine Fire Extinguisher Canister Temporary Revisions to the Eclipse 500 and 550 Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) have been approved by EASA .
SIL Background
The Engine Fire Extinguisher Canister Temporary Revisions (TR) to the Eclipse 500 (TR No. 04-5, 06-117751) and Eclipse 550 (TR No. 04-5, 06-123838) AMMs have been approved by EASA. The TRs changed the life limit language for the part number 26-123127-( ) engine fire extinguisher canister.

Suggested Operator Action
Operators of aircraft registered in EASA member countries should review the appropriate AMM TR 04-5 for their model and incorporate the change in their aircraft’s maintenance schedule. Operators of aircraft registered in EASA member countries must compile their AMM using three documents. They are the main AMM, AMM TR 04-5 (and any superseding AMM TRs that may be released), and the EASA AMM Supplement.
