SIL Summary
Eclipse Aerospace Service Engineering has received enquiries about the time limited maintenance requirements for Main and Nose Wheels contained in the EA-500 Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) 32-42-00 page block 601. This SIL will clarify those requirements.
SIL Background
The AMM chapter 05-10-10 contains a time limited maintenance requirement for the Main Wheel P/N 40-440 and
Nose Wheel P/N 40-423 with a task reference of AMM-32-42-00-021-801 and an interval of tire change.
The AMM chapter 32 wheel inspection contained in 32-42-00 details the requirements for wheels with 0 to 4999
landings and wheels with 5000 or greater landings.
Eclipse Action
All time limited maintenance requirements for the wheels will be located in Chapter 5 in future revisions of AMM .
Suggested Operator Action
Operators should continue to follow the wheel maintenance requirements in chapter 5 and 32 .
